Private lessons are best for those who prefer individual one-on-one instruction, and to give each student the opportunity to swim at their own pace. These are offered to any age swimmer – youth or adult. Times are upon availability of the individual, instructor and pool time. The YMCA will contact you if there are any cancellation of classes.

Private single swim lessons with one student and one instructor includes 6 lessons.

Price: Member $135; Non-member $162

Learning to swim takes time and practice. That’s why we hold swim lessons year-round and design them to be taken multiple times – so the swimmer can master each skill set we teach. Plan to begin lessons months in advance. Learning through play in a safe environment fosters positive feelings that help students want to come back!

Goggles: We highly encourage using goggles that cover the eyes only. We discourage the use of masks that cover both the eyes and nose, as they impede work on breath control.

The Y offers a variety of aquatic programs/activities for our adult and older members to enjoy!
