We are excited to offer a swim lesson program that emphasizes safety in, on, and around the water. Our team is committed to  offering high-quality swim lessons that are backed by science! Many of our instructors are now certified by the American Red Cross as Water Safety Instructors. This allows us to provide you with superb, science-based learning for students of all ages and abilities!

Learning to swim takes time and practice. That’s why we hold swim lessons year-round and design them to be taken multiple times – so the swimmer can master each skill set we teach. Plan to begin lessons months in advance. Learning through play in a safe environment fosters positive feelings that help students want to come back!

Goggles: We highly encourage using goggles that cover the eyes only. We discourage the use of masks that cover both the eyes and nose, as they impede work on breath control.

The Y offers a variety of aquatic programs/activities for our adult and older members to enjoy!
